Well this page is for people who want to know about the webmaster of
http://praveen-linux.8m.com.This
site actually started as a hobby project [just like Linus Torvalds
:)] .
I started using Linux from Nov'99. The first time I installed Linux was
on a 125 MB hard-disk which came from an old 386. Now I have been
trying to port C++ apps to Linux . I started this site on April 2000 .
The main reason why I launched this site is to help Linux users to understand
their OS better . This site is also a one stop solution because I designed
the site in view to help beginner to advanced Linux users . The site is
well categorized into various comprehensive sections offering a lot of
information , news , help and of course a lot of links . The reason why
a selected few of the links are shown is because these links are the most
important ones to aid a Linux user . You may find that these links are
more than sufficient for getting started Tell me what you think about

Also I would like to thank R.K.Rajeev,
my buddy who first introduced me to the world of Linux. Without him
such a extensive study wouldn't have been possible. I also thank him for
